Role: Senior Strategic Account Manager (reporting to VP of Sales)
Compensation: Non-exempt, Salary + Commission + Benefits + Stock Options

Job Description

  • New business generation with aggressive quota targets in CPF’s top tier of strategic accounts, comprised of solar installers, solar equipment distributors, electrical distributors, HVAC and roofing companies
  • Creation of business plan with yearly, quarterly, monthly objectives with weekly/daily reporting
  • Expertise in prospecting, qualifying and closing deals
  • Responsibility and accountability for sales of CPF Tools, CPF Leads, Transaction products and Financing to the strategic accounts
  • Articulate the CPF vision and position the company effectively in the marketplace
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitive offerings and their shortcomings
  • Active usage of CPF’s CRM/SFA tools
  • Work effectively with Development, Marketing and Lead generation teams
  • Desire to grow level of responsibility within CPF as the company matures

Position Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years proven sales experience with enterprise software or solar PV products
  • College Degree (4 year, Technical and/or advanced degrees a plus)
  • Corporate and Major Account selling skills including ability to sell to Cxx, VP, and Director level contacts
  • Capability to model and sell complex financial transactions based on payback and ROI
  • Knowledge of banking and finance markets
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, start-up environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Rolodex of solar industry contacts is a STRONG plus
  • Ability to adapt to the CPF culture and act as strong team player
  • Familiarity with Strategic Selling, Power Base Selling, Negotiative Selling
  • Expertise in all MS Office products
