The 4th UC Hastings Cleantech Roundtable, will provide a forum for law students, practicing attorneys and entrepreneurs alike to come together and learn about cutting edge issues in one of the country’s most rapidly growing sectors. What legal issues are implicated, and what are the economic ramifications of the ongoing solar trade wars between the U.S. and China? How will new financial models, such as Solar Mosaic’s crowdfunded solar investments, and new developments in technology, change the renewable energy industry? The panel discussions will highlight current and expected barriers and opportunities in the cleantech sector. This year’s roundtable aims to gather an eclectic group of experts from industry, policy and legal fields to provide a robust dialogue. The event should appeal to those interested in innovation, environmental and energy issues and international law and policy.
